Instructions for the 2026 Dripping Springs Women’s Club Scholarship Application

Deadline:

BY MIDNIGHT, SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 2026, via internet submission​.  Incomplete applications will not be considered for a scholarship award.

Details:

• The Drippings Springs Women’s Club will award four (4) 2026 scholarships in the amount of $2000 each.

• Scholarship winners will be announced in May of 2026.

• Scholarship awards will be made payable DIRECTLY to the college/university for tuition. Funds are not payable to the student.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicant must be a female high student living within the boundaries of the Dripping Springs Independent School District.  The scholarship award is open to home schooled students and those attending public and/or private high schools.

• All applicants must complete the application form.

• Ideal applicants will exhibit excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, volunteerism, and potential for future success.

• Applicant does not have a full tuition scholarship at time of application or thereafter.

 

​Submissions Required:

• Certified transcript (or equivalent) dated December 2025 or later.

• Letter(s) of acceptance from accredited institutions of higher education, if available.

• Personal information, redacted resume, and essays.

• Upon notification of winning the scholarship, the recipient must provide proof of acceptance, along with a full student identification number assigned by institution attending, and name of the department, contact person and address to which funds are to be sent.

• If after submission or notification of the DSWC award the applicant is notified of a full tuition scholarship award, the DSWC Scholarship Chair must be contacted so the DSWC award can be presented to another eligible applicant.
